matatk: Call for breakouts is close to running until the TPAC, but please don't wait the last minute. Link above from matatk gives more information about breakouts
TPAC 2024 Planning
<matatk> https://
matatk: Early registration has passed, but remote is still possible. We have a published schedule for our meetings, see link just above this message
matatk: For the people being there in person. We want a consensus about masking in the meetings. Wait for more news, but packing masks is recommended
WCAG2ICT Review
<matatk> Review request thread: w3c/
<matatk> https://
matatk: The plan is: Cfc on the review. No formal comment right now, but some ideas (Thank you to Dr. Keith and Neha for helping)
matatk: ... for example: A section about closed functionality (user can't change settings or install assistive technology). Added a few scenarios like medical equipment or educational devices (whiteboard, smart board)
<Fazio> conformance level definition is a mess also
matatk: ... a section about key terms. Some terms had to be redefined to some degree. The problem is that they use these terms interchangeably. A little more clarity would help to make this document easier to understand.
Fazio: I still a have an open issue about the non existance of the definition of conformace level. If this gets clarified, this might help to revise the conformance section in this document
matatk: Not so sure about this, but your other idea, fazio, about the WCAG principles is great. A reminder at the beginning of the document about the principles in general would certainly be helpful
EPUB Fixed Layout recap
<matatk> Recap: https://
matatk: There are still some open questions. Is the title suitable? About the reading order in this fixed layout, does the spec give the reader the correct tools? Current state of authoring tools?
janina: Really important document and these questions by matatk are great.
