Fazio: Working on scheduling a meeting with Equity/Community WG to combine efforts and compare maturity models
JenStrickland: David has a standing request to respond to an e-mail as it is quite urgent, so please kindly do so
JenStrickland: recently spoke with David to discuss maturity model so that it is a broader scoped maturity model. Currently trying to make sense of the a11y maturity model, etc. Not a lot of attention to date.
Fazio: Was suggested to us to schedule a meeting with Equity Community group
JenStrickland: requesting a response in e-mail
janina: I don't think we really have a problem, just trying to ensure we're staying in sync. No animosity that I'm aware of, no ill intentions on our part
janina: If there was a clarification request, I missed it and I apologize.
janina: want to offer comfort in that we're talking past each other and miscommunicating. This is meant as a gentle comfort. We'll go forward in e-mail but let's understand that we're not trying to be confrontational or dismissive.
matatk: will follow up in e-mail
Task Force & Deliverables Updates
RQTF
<matatk> https://
janina: Have been talking with Shawn as we're ready for messaging. CTAUR updated working draft. CTAUR attempts to document where these accessibility requirements are. Publishing another wide review. It will have a long lead time as it is summer (vacations, etc.).
… We think we're done unless we get substantive comments.
janina: a lot of interest in AI accessibility as well.
janina: also some substantive updates in the Captcha space also
<matatk> https://
janina: activity coming to us from outside requesting us to re-engage in immersive web (XR). Two requests for coordination.

Explicit Review Requests <https://github.com/w3c/a11y-request/issues >
Vibration API
<matatk> review issue: w3c/
<matatk> spec (linked from review issue): https://
matatk: review request for vibration API.
matatk: idea is to provide API that allows access to vibration mechanism of host device. It's tactile feedback.
We have looked at this previously: https://
janina: Should be able to find out the possibility of high-resolution feedback.
Previous comment that had consensus: https://
matatk: We were asked for them to look at it in the next version. I don't see a response from us.
<niklasegger> It looks like they added the commen to this section: 4. Security and privacy consideration
niklasegger: looked through the spec and looks like they edited 4th section.
matatk: Anyone can look and review?
Fazio: You can include me on it.
CSS Update (Paul) <https://github.com/w3c/css-a11y/issues >
PaulG: last week was combined meeting with WHATWG and a lot of discussion on syntax. Still in good standing currently.
matatk: in what sense do you mean syntax? new feature and not sure about syntax? or more general?
PaulG: Depends. Sometimes it's syntax grammar related and some are existing features that have inconsistent syntax. Long-form, short-form, etc.
JenStrickland: Wanted to volunteer to join the CSS group. Have had some issues with group dynamics prior, so would love a partner to be in the group with.
JenStrickland: I'm already in the group but haven't been attending. Would like to join together sometime.
PaulG: Can link up on the e-mail to discuss approach, Jen.
Actions Checkin (Specs) <issues/assigned >
matatk: Dr. Keith had some updates regarding his action. Need to be able to contribute as well as understand the issue. Idea is that we will propose a comment. A similar thing went in from the i18n group. Reasonable chance for some feedback there. We're following up on that work.
