Meeting minutes

Review agenda and next meeting dates

Matt_King: Today's meeting will be 30 minutes instead of 60.

Matt_King: Any changes to the agenda?

IsaDC: I'd like to discuss an issue I recently submitted to the ARIA-AT App repository

Matt_King: We will add that to the end

Hadi: I reported a problem that I could reproduce consistently, but I missed the previous meeting. Is that resolved?

Matt_King: for the moment we are deprioritizing it because we couldn't get any actionable information to Vispero

Matt_King: we can reopen it if we get some information

James_Scholes: It might help for you to jump on a Zoom call with IsaDC to work through a quick demonstration

Matt_King: the test plan is still available; they are always available

IsaDC: I will contact you offline

James_Scholes: We discussed this two Thursdays ago, so you can check the minutes for more context about the discussion

Matt_King: Next community group meeting: Wednesday, July 3

Matt_King: Next AT Driver Subgroup meeting: Monday July 8

James_Scholes: I won't be available on that day

Michael_Fairchild: I won't be available that day, either

Matt_King: Maybe we should reschedule it, then

jugglinmike: I'll work to reschedule it with you folks

Matt_King: No meeting Thursday July 11

Current status

Matt_King: Revised goals: 6 recommended plans by September 30. 4 more by December 31.

Matt_King: 6 plans in candidate review:

Matt_King: alert, command button, link: Approved by Vispero toggle button, radio group:Review in-progress Modal Dialog Example Test Plan Versions: New version just advanced and ready for review.

Matt_King: One plan in draft review: Color Viewer Slider Test Plan Versions

Matt_King: Next up: Disclosure Navigation Menu Example Test Plan Versions and Action Menu Button Example Using aria-activedescendant Test Plan Versions

New test queue!!

Matt_King: If you go to the test queue right now, the biggest difference you'll find is that there is now a whole section for each test plan

Matt_King: Of course, if you run into any problems, please raise an issue

Matt_King: Does anyone have any feedback about the next test queue that they'd like to share right now?

Matt_King: Hearing none, we'll move on

Testing of Color Viewer Slider

Matt_King: You'll find a heading for "Color Viewer Slider" in the test queue right now

Matt_King: Right now, we need to assign people to run the test plan

Matt_King: IsaDC has already run it once for each AT

Matt_King: We need testers for JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver--just the color viewer slider

Joe_Humbert: I can test VoiceOver and NVDA

Matt_King: Thanks! I've assigned you to those

Matt_King: Actually, I will run it with the NVDA Bot, first

IsaDC: When that completes, I will re-assign the Test Plan Run to Joe_Humbert

Hadi: I volunteer to test with JAWS

Matt_King: Thank you, everyone! We have this Test Plan covered, now

w3c/aria-at-app#1136: Incorrect VoiceOver Bot Results for Color Viewer Slider Test Plan

github: w3c/aria-at-app#1136

IsaDC: Basically, the results from the bot don't match

James_Scholes: Is this happening on all of the tests?

IsaDC: There is only one test out of nine that the results match

James_Scholes: In the test that matches, does it match for all commands?

IsaDC: There's only one command

Hadi: I was just in the Test Queue. Just before Matt assigned me to Color Slider, I had a different test in the "main" region. Now, it has changed. Is it expected that I can see only one at a time?

Matt_King: There is only one Test Plan Run assigned to you, now--the color viewer slider. Can you find it?

Hadi: Yes, I can find it. This is much cleaner

jugglinmike: I don't know what's going wrong in this issue, IsaDC, but the issue gives us everything we need to start investigating. Thank you!
