Meeting minutes
(Sorry that that the previous meeting was wrong in the agenda)
Call next week
Regular time, but probable regrets from Steven
Steven: Skip next week
ACTION-2338: Implement the common/context attribute sets
https://
Steven: Please check
ACTION-2339: Fix incorrect function signatures, using numeric
(Alain)
https://
Alain: Is my reply OK?
Steven: OK with me
Erik: Looks like what we agreed on
Alain: A question about avg (average)
… return value is a double, but XPath 1.0 works differently
… uses 'numbers'.
… XPath 2 the types depend o the parameters, so can we use 'numeric' istead of double for avg.
Erik: XPath 2 avg function
Alain: Atomic type
Erik: Pass it a seq of integers, and it returns an integer?
Alain: For sum, max, and min it does
Erik: I think that XPath 2 returns sum div count, which makes sense, which returns an integer in XPath 2
… in XPath 1, it points to nodes.
Alain: XPath 1 only has 'numbers', no other distinction
Erik: I think it is fine as it is
Alain: OK
AOB
None
Alain: Summertime ends
… 26 March
