Meeting minutes
<Chuck_> are we looking for a scribe? I think I'm up.
<Lauriat> https://
<Chuck_> Well, I can scribe to get us going, I suspected it would be a very light day.
Continuation of guidelines breakdown
JS: checkin on Makoto
JS: we should do more work on migration of WCAG 2 user needs
JS: propose splitting into 2 groups, audio description and captions live
JS: lets not do captions live lets add to doc
JS: instead audio description
<ToddL> +1 to Janina
Janina: want to talk about audio descritption simply migrating from 2 to 3 would be mistake, description of video according to HTML5 went into a lot of effort on why want different sets of descriptions for different audiences
JS: audio description want to change language
MaryJo: want to talk about TPAC
CA: approaching these exercises or devils in details which is best? it sounds like not about process but guidance
Janinina: correct
CA: lets discuss in team about guidance
SL: revisisit guidance and user needs and build up from there
<Zakim> Lauriat, you wanted to speak to the migration process and how it won't just pull in exact 2.x guidance
MaryJo: i was curious if Silve was planning to meet at TPAC in person
Jeanne: plan is that we’re going to meet for 4 days to work on WCAG 3, technicall y ag silver for 2 days each, in person or hybrid
MaryJo: i want to be there
Jennifer: glad for hybrid
Jeanne: i’m waiting to make my decision

Janina: we hit upon this with HTML5 and less audio more focus on speaking, in some streaming platform, i put link in. and vision and bckground audio for lip reading
<Makoto> Janina, thanks for sharing. very interesting!
