webxr-gamepads-module#50 tracking Wide Review for Level1 CR requested by Yonet
https://
To enter wide review we need to complete the self review for WebXR Gamepads and WebXR AR Module. We need volunteers for this.
We also need to decide whether we need to perform another horizontal review for WebXR API since the one done a year ago.
i.e. have any of the changes brought in additional risks for privacy or a11y
bajones: I don't think we have done anything that needs re-review.
plh: we need to publish a spec to show this group can produce specs.
The last horizontal review was 2 years ago if there has been no substantive changes we can move on. Are the open issues blockers.
bajones: no
plh great we just need a CFP
ada: it's already done
plh: What about the others?
ACTION: Atushi to send transition request to move WebXR Device API to CR
ada: We still need to do the self review for Gamepad and AR before we can send them for horizontal review?
bajones: We can perofrm the self review during editor's meeting.

<yonet> File an issue here: https://
atsushi: we asked for review on our charter one month ago and we contacted PING, and security. a11y review has completed.
atsushi has alrady tried to follow up
Rik: Gripspace for hand tracking
We've been updating the gripSpace for hands to feel better but currently it's still a little odd.
rik: the spec doesn't make total sense as it suggests the gripSpace should be moved or at the origin of the hand i.e. the wrist
rather than the location a user is holding an imaginary controller
any changes we make need to be done in tandem so that the models can be updated and still work for everyone.
yonet: is this an issue on hololens too
rik: there is an issue where we can't display the model on hololens.
rik: will make an issue
