Meeting minutes

marketing

TPAC

debbie: breakout and group meeting
… will be open to the public

debbie: following week will be our regular call but with a different link and possible observers

interfaces work

dirk: updating interfaces work with architecture changes

(dirk reviews diagram at https://mit.zoom.us/j/96653575919?pwd=eFgrUE5WYlJyU2RDc2dic05YK0tkUT09)

debbie: align interfaces with numbers in walkthrough?

dirk: will do that
… not adding anything right now

debbie: this is a lot of interfaces must prioritize, but maybe could use EMMA
… goes over example

dirk: signal is hidden by a URL

debbie: should look at binary

tobias: what about medium, mode and dialog

debbie: these are for multimodal inputs
… mode and function have open-ended set of values

dirk: mode might make sense in output but not input

tobias: message could apply to noise

dirk: mode was optional

debbie: don't want to rule out multimodal

debbie: could do another example of interpreted input
… maybe add labels to interfaces
… at some point

dirk: EMMA could be used for a lot of interfaces

debbie: should discuss what we could do with security
… can use normal web security but what about speech?

tobias: do we need to refer to biometrics?
… not sure if there are any good standards

bev: not sure if there are good standards

bev: can look into biometrics
… standards
