Meeting minutes
Minute review
<kaz> Sep-7
Sebastian: We should discuss, if we can bring the logos on the website. There are some rules from the W3C regarding that.
… any objections?
Minutes are getting published.
New moderation
Sebastian: The new year at Siemens starts and since I also work in the other tasks forces, I will not have enough time for the marketing taskforce anymore.
… I asked Fady, if he has time for this. Fady is kind of the successor of Ege.
… Fady would be fine doing it. Even though, this is open. So, if anyone is interested, please go ahead.
Daniel: Maybe we should ask in the whole group, not only in the task force.
<Mizushima> +1
Sebastian: Maybe we should make this announcement in the main call.

Web of Things webpage
Sebastian: Any objections to merge the PR?
no objections, PR gets merged.
Sebastian: Anything else we should update on the website?
Sebastian: The F2F dates are wrong.
Daniel: I can fix that right away.
<kaz> vF2F wiki
Daniel: Updated the dates. It takes some minutes to update on the website.
Sebastian: Ege is not here, but I can write him to create one tweet
Daniel: I updated the video section.
Sebastian: I haven't seen the introduction title first. Is it just me? Is there another way we can make it more clear that this is a category?
Daniel: We could use tabs for it.
… what might help is to have a little more space in between.
Sebastian: The resolution of this preview image (TPAC 2020) is not great. Maybe can change that.
Daniel: I can change this. Maybe I can also add a gray border to make it clearer.
Sebastian: I will ping Ege regarding the tweet of the plugfest.

<kaz> Issue 194 - Adding simple WoT introduction video (and reorganize video ordering)
Sebastian: Fady, do you have an update on it?
Fady: We are working on this and can give you an update on it this month.
Sebastian: Philipp, do you have an update?
Philipp: No, I am working on the documentation.
Sebastian: I would like to have the introduction video by TUM on the website.
wondering about the order of our videos...
Kaz: We can put them into some categories. Also we can simply sort the videos by year instead.
Sebastian: We can put up the tutorials first and have the interview in another section below it.
Philipp: I agree on this. The tutorials are way more important.
Daniel: I still suggest to have them orderd by date.
Sebastian: Yes, that makes sense.
Sebastian adds a comment to issue 194.
Kaz: I agree with Daniel to sort it by date.
Kaz: We could add the tutorials to the developer section.
Sebastian: Let's revisit this topic when fady and ege have their tutorial series ready.
Kaz: ok. there are 3 possible pages at the moment, Developers, Documentation and Videos.
Daniel: The intro text in the developer section is a bit weird.
Sebastian: You are right. I am also not happy with it.
Daniel: I can just remove it.
Sebastian: Okay.
Contact information.
Daniel: We have pointer to the spec, but no contact information.
Daniel: We had a long discussion about matrix, github, discord etc.
Philipp: As I remember the conclusion was, for now, to just use Github.
Sebastian: Github has this new feature for discussions.
Daniel: If we would activate it, I would only activate it on one page.
… this looks very similar to github issues.
+1 on only have one discussion page.
Philipp: I am with daniel on this. Only one discussion page. For now, github discussion is probably fine.
Sebastian: We also have Stackoverflow. Should we link it as well?
Philipp: Since most of our activities are already on github, github is probably the better way to go, for now.
Daniel: That is a topic for the main call.
Sebastian adds a comment to issue 192
