Meeting minutes

DCAT update

DaveBr: minutes sent following the meeting; also a note following the last DXWG meeting providing direction to the plenary on the issues considered priority/important
… Most substantive thing discussed was the next PWD for DCAT3
… aiming to have spec ready within next 1-2 weeks. Hoping for the attention of the plenary meeting to review quickly in preparation for a vote to publish

AndreaPerego: we are getting input from one of the chairs of the ODRL group - contributing some use cases - relating to documentation in the aviation industry and also an ODRL policy. The latter is an outstanding issue, so this provides some guidance on including ODRL policies

DaveBr: we seem to have problems with the software.

plh: there was a cloud problem last week

<AndreaPerego> The relevant PRs: https://github.com/w3c/dxwg/pull/1340 & https://github.com/w3c/dxwg/pull/1339

plh: I will deal with it.

AndreaPerego: we will have the draft ready a week before the plenary of 20th, with an aim to publish end April

Caroline_: need to send an email to the mailing list alerting people

AndreaPerego: will send as soon as draft is ready

AndreaPerego: should we look at issue still open on the agenda?

<AndreaPerego> https://github.com/w3c/dxwg/issues?q=is%3Aissue+is%3Aopen+label%3Aprofile-guidance

AndreaPerego: there are more issues for profile guidance than for DCAT
… one option is to move this set of issues to a separate repo - it might tidy things up whilst retaining the 88 open issues somewhere accessible

kcoyle: I have been asking as to whether the group will ever get back to that project
… to me it argues for setting them aside somehow, but that makes it less likely we will make any decision about them going forward

<AndreaPerego> Lars's mail: https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-dxwg-wg/2021Apr/0003.html

plh: it would take time to move to a different repo, but there are more tools

<kcoyle> +1 keep as is

Caroline_: shall we just keep them where they are?
