Erik: I'm following up. There's an XPath implementation Fonto, and the implementor is asking.
Steven: Is this the classic misunderstanding of what a namespace is?
Erik: I'm not sure.
… XPath doesn't have an import mechanism.
… Fonto doesn't seem to have a mechanism to import functions
… Mike Kaye is working on XPath 4, and there are some things being added to ease calling functions without prefixes
Steven: So we have no work to do.
