Heath: More play on wallets
... C1 is horz wallet
(Ian likes the folding version)
IJ: Widely opened wallet looks more like a book
(Ian opens up the discussion)
Eiji: I like C16 to C19
... most obviously a wallet
... but want a bit more "web' and "exchange of value" in
there
Dean: I like C17. I like the outline of the wallet. Don't love the green, but love how the outline emphasizes the shape.
Ken: Agree with comments so far;
like C17 as well
... also don't love the green
... I think adding a coin may be interesting; not sure that the
coin is recognizable though
... what about a paper bill
... recognize the currency issue
IJ: What about wallet as door
Heath: Sphere distorts wallet rectangle
IJ: C17 with an outline
... Reaction to wallet larger in circle; lose sense of
globe
... Three main concepts are (1) wallet (2) globe (3)
exchange
Eiji: What is the logo shows up in an Android window. It's a tiny place in the window. Will I recognize it as a wallet?
I think C17 and C18 make sense for that
Eiji: We could also draw
something on the wallet
... also C1 is a good alternative
... if there is a room, can we draw a globe there?
... so some combos of C1 and C18
Heath: I think there is something
there.
... I did play with adding detail to the surface of the wallet;
that becomes an issue when the wallet is very small
... I can probably start to display sizes as well to help
communicate issues.
(Regarding green)
Heath: I am trying to stay away
from Green in the end.
... or if we use it, make it more modern.

IJ: I like C17 as well
Heath: Tilt on side also removes
immediacy of wallet but easy to come back to wallet image
... I like how simple it is.
Eiji: Could C17 be more open to contain more of a card inside it?
Heath: I can try but in order to get that look we will have a bigger silhouette
IJ: I get a little nervous about
being too card-centric
... wallets already hold cards
Heath: I think "ID" rather than payment card
IJ: Circle above wallet to indicate person/globe/coin?
Dean: Any way to convey "digital" as well?
Heath: I have seen that done with logos....to break it up into squares/sprites
Two colors:
- two parties to the transaction
- binary
scribe: black and white
IJ: I have not gravitated to the gradients
----------
Heath: I have enough to go
with
... I can deliver on Wednesday morning
... I hope to narrow to 3 by Weds
(Another theme: innovation)
IJ: I propose next round of comments by email
Thank yoU!!
