<RubenVerborgh> Sorry, can I have WebEx details?
<Caroline> https://www.w3.org/2017/11/14-dxwg-minutes
Let’s approve last week’s minutes?
<SimonCox> I was not present so can't comment
<Caroline> +1
<roba> +1
<annette_g> +1
Resolved: approve last week's minutes
No objections …
<Caroline> https://www.w3.org/2017/dxwg/charter
Caroline: last week we discussed the deadlines in the DXWG charter. The only thing we are behind on is the first public draft for DCAT+
The use cases and requirements are due to be published and we’re ready to decide on that
<Caroline> moving ahead the FPWD for DCAT Q1 2018
Karen: its a shame we don’t have Alejandra here, she started a DCAT draft for that
Dave: I will respond by email …
<kcoyle> +1
Simon: my apologies for being out of the loop for the last month, but I am now back and agree with starting from the previois DCAT draft and evolving it as we agree on the changes
Action: SimonCox copy over DCAT 1.0 to github, making necessary changes
<trackbot> Created ACTION-62 - Copy over dcat 1.0 to github, making necessary changes [on Simon Cox - due 2017-11-28].
<kcoyle> https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-dxwg-wg/2017Nov/0075.html
Caroline: any one want to comment …
Rob talks about the question of multiple profiles
Karen: at the face to face we decided that we were unclear about the requirements for profiles
<Caroline> https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-dxwg-wg/2017Nov/0075.html
Antoine: I’ve beening having some problems with email. Karen’s list pretty much matches ours
<antoine> https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1EiOwf99wocAXlYTIXFEsYx_ZYd6S9meVc8xIdVguLdk/edit#gid=0
Line 32, 33 and 34 …
Rob: 6.1.2 covers profile negotiation …
Karen: we can leave what’s already there and add Antoine’s
<roba> after reworking headings : https://w3c.github.io/dxwg/ucr/#RID2 now 6.1.2
Karen: 6.1.5 - none of us could quite understand it, nor where it came from
Antoine: I can help with the rewording of the requirements
Action: kcoyle compare lists and add any that are missing
<trackbot> Created ACTION-63 - Compare lists and add any that are missing [on Karen Coyle - due 2017-11-28].
Caroline: let’s move on
<SimonCox> Simon still interested in editing
<PWinstanley> I agreed to join in the editing of dcat
Caroline: so now we have several editors for the DCAT spec
<Makx> I'd like to participate as contributor, not editor
<SimonCox> I'm working on getting a draft into the repo in the background right now!
(four editors for now)
<roba> +1 for me
<roba> (contrib - not editor)
<RiccardoAlbertoni> (sorry i can't get in web ex tonight) I am available for contributing if that can help, especially for the quality related Issues
<antoine> RiccardoAlbertoni I've said we could be contributors to DCAT if there's DQV stuff involved, is it ok for you?
<antoine> ah ok we crossed comments :-)
<SimonCox> Can I have it confirmed - lead editors are Alejandra, Dave Browning, Simon Cox, PWinstanley
<AndreaPerego> I'm also interested in contributing to DCAT.
<Makx> no not me
<RiccardoAlbertoni> +1 to antoine :)
and Peter, not Max
Caroline reviews pending actions.
Dave to forward github pull requests to the email list
Dave: I’ve been too busy and will have another go at it
<AndreaPerego> Have to work on it.
Karen: once Dave has created the initial draft we still need to follow the due process.
Dave_Raggett: I can help once the group has resolved to publish an editors draft
Caroline: any other points to discuss?
<kcoyle> Data publishers need to be able to serve different profiles of the same data via the same data publication channel (Web API)
Karen points to the spreadsheet
<kcoyle> https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/16JmtNCz_aCWtTCSntriDWLvyPY2x-Y9dZFhAHFl55r0/edit#gid=0
Rob talks about the requirements
Karen: yes we do need specific requirements
Rob: we need titlles or numbers
Karen: it looks like we need to define profiles in more detail
Rob: we could make use of shape rules (SHACL) for profiles
<Zakim> LarsG, you wanted to talk about difference between schema and profile
<roba> +1
Lars: I would to clarify the difference between schema and profile. Ruben’s definition is nice - a profile is a set of constraints
<Makx> ok bye
<PWinstanley_> bye!!
<roba> bye
<PWinstanley_> happy thanksgiving
<RiccardoAlbertoni> bye!
<AndreaPerego> Thanks, and bye!
<annette_g> bye folks!
Caroline: let’s bring this to a close, talk to you all next week
Succeeded: s/do /to /
