nikos: We are all about ready to
go - have given three weeks for review and haven't had any
comments
... DoC is all ready to go and I'm putting together an archive
for publication
... then we need to send a transition request email to
plh
... I can do that - think we've met all the criteria
required
shepazu: Yes, we'll potentially
need to schedule a call with plh
... so next Tuesday is probably too soon to aim for
publication
nikos: I'm away next week - but happy to have a call
shepazu: Why don't we have the call the week after, and mention that in your transition request email
AmeliaBR: Monday the week after is a holiday in the US
nikos: If anyone wants to push small changes, I can still rebase the cr branch
AmeliaBR: I pushed some small
ones this morning. I'm still looking at the Conformance chapter
and will probably add an introduction and do some rework
... I'll have processing modes first and then referencing modes
because that's the order in which they're defined
nikos: The only big thing I've
done is get rid of all the ready for review markup
... since CR should be reviewed as a whole
AmeliaBR: The only other thing - we want at the same time to get SVG Animations WD published
nikos: That's on my list - should be easy once I've got SVG 2 ready to go
nikos: We have about 8 people
registered for TPAC - not the usual attendees, so it might be a
good opportunity to talk about some different things
... we probably won't work through issues, but it might be a
good opportunity to talk about some different things
... maybe the test suite, or increasing participation in the
group
shepazu: talking to the testing people will be really important
nikos: Yeah, I was planning to
spend the week prior getting my head around all the testing
stuff
... I'll send out an agenda request to www-svg and see if we
get any response
AmeliaBR: Most important i think
is getting test suite prepared and rechartering
... getting some clear commitments from the larger players
shepazu: don't know if we'll recharter, but we might extend the charter
AmeliaBR: it's a conversation
that needs to be started
... As far as testing, it's important because all the browsers
have their own test suite. It's a matter of leveraging those
and getting those contributed and vetted to make sure they're
testing what needs to be tested
