Review email from Andrew
Sarah: How are we going to
discover what this should be?
... we should focus on short term goals of this group
... the process of designing the process
... looking at efforts in other industries
... what can we learn from how they managed change
... lead certifications on buildings is a good example
... who makes those standards, how do they change, what is the
impact of change?
... go to a discovery phase. People don't usually want to do
this phase, and want to go straight to the tactical.
... we will have to make a case for this approach.
Jeanne: A constraint we have to deal with is that we will have to do the work. We don't have a budget for this.
Sarah: I sent out a message to TPG so they would know that there are two people engaged and there will be a time-cost to it.
Shawn: One of my regrets is that I did not have a full understanding of the time requirements. I don't have the time to do the research to be fully imformed on WCAG.
For Thursday's meeting: Jeanne will talk with Andrew about the timeline
and continue the brainstorming. Set our short-term objectives.
