<deiu> Action-162?
<trackbot> Action-162 -- Robert Sanderson to Send implementation comparison to public list -- due 2015-04-28 -- OPEN
<trackbot> http://www.w3.org/2012/ldp/track/actions/162
In previous call we agreed to making a WG note from LDP paging.
After a few more updates to status section, it will be good to go.
Alexandre is trying to clarify the legal status of his LD patch implementation
once done this can progress us beyond CR
it is much better to do this before the charter expires
At the moment the support for the next version of LDP is a bit lacklustre
deiu suggests a community group.
to get the tools and framework to continue working, but without the some of formalities
<deiu> I think it's 10 people that have to OK it
Arnaud says there is a way to progress to a recommendation track - which takes care of patent policy.
bblfish suggests building a list of interested names. We could move to a CG if the interest isn't too high. The CG could be useful for a transition phase.
Arnaud encourages everyone to express their endorsement / support of LDPNext by dropping an email to the mailing list
<bblfish> Arnaud pointed out that the best way would be if all members expressed support on the public mailing list to the e-mail about the Working Group chater.
<bblfish> So we should answer this e-mail: https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-ldp/2015May/0007.html with +1's ?
<deiu> bblfish, that would be a good start
Ashok suggested that we could spin-off some of the specs to other working groups.
(right Ashok ?)
<Ashok> Yes, Roger, as a last resort!
bblfish requests a vote because silence isn't considered as endorsement in this case.
<bblfish> In fact we did quite a lot of work on the WebID CG ( well it's an XG too ) http://www.w3.org/2005/Incubator/webid/spec/
all - bblfish makes a good suggestion.
Arnaud adds another voice to the CG is a
scribe: transitory way of organising ourselves whilst we build ourselves up to a WG
Annotations WG is using LDP, but. they are defaulting to JSON-LD, rather than turtle.
<deiu> +1 TallTed
TallTed suggests that the default document type should be HTML - not JSON-LD or turtle, or ..
lots of discussion about JSON, JSON-LD, ActivityStreams, etc ...
one thing to note is that we should think about updating the MUST statements about turtle in LDP in a future publishing
<bblfish> https://github.com/linkeddata/SoLiD/issues/30
<Arnaud> trackbot, end meeting
bblfish suggested a pattern of creation using PUT of a temporary resource (and then I didn't understand the rest Henry ....)
