Element Re-use
Technical Challenge
We need to be able to:
- make statements about individual items, like images, text and videos;
- make statements about collections of items;
- link from one set of statements to another, find related items, etc.
- have a means of distinguishing between real world objects and digital data;
- be able to add new facts and new concepts at any time without adding new tables or columns to the database.
Other People - Reegle
Reegle Tagging API - extracts keywords and concepts from documents and creates linked data about them.
Other People - BBC
BBC News - trials underway to embed RDFa in news pages. Point is not to embed RDFa
Serendipity
Current Web site soon to be retired
