ISSUE-236: rendered provenance is a thing in the world

rendered provenance is a thing in the world
- State:
- CLOSED
- Product:
- prov-dm
- Raised by:

- Description:
- I have concerns about the phrasing of the following:
"In this example, the attribute-value pairs do not constitute a representation of something in the world; they are just used to help render provenance."
I would argue that the rendered provenance glyph on the screen _is_ a thing in the world and that the properties "[ex:color="blue", ex:screenX=20, ex:screenY=30]" are describing _that_ instead of the entity.
I suggest rephrasing it to something like:
"In this example, the attribute-value pairs are not part of the entity's characterization within this assertion. Instead, the attribute-value pairs are describing how the characterization has or could be rendered in a user interface."
Thanks,
