Locale Neutral

Aspects of a service that are independent of any localization considerations.

Examples:

• Locale-independent data representations (e.g. XML Schema datatypes, e.g. date: 2004-08-31)
• Simple numeric calculations (e.g. return π to a precision of 30 digits)

This is the ideal situation. When designing a service, try to use this pattern as much as possible.
