Office Consolidation: Hungary
Office hosted by SZTAKI (Computer and Automation Research institute of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences), in Budapest
Office was officially opened in October 2002 in Budapest
Since then the office has:
established itself in Hungary through Web site, contacts, mailing lists
hosted presentations in Budapest (e.g., on XML Schema, Semantic Web) with W3C team members as speakers
given active support for W3C working groups
participated in the organization of the WWW2003 conference and the W3C AC meeting
already recruited two W3C members
Can be considered a success
