Needs of More Outreach in Europe

• The Interop and Semantic Tours were extremely well recieved successful events
• The European Web community applauded the organization of such events
• W3C greatly benefited from the tours as they helped strenghen the links with the IT and user communities at large

What's next then?

• Current challenging work in W3C to present: Device Independence, Web Services, Multimodality, Voice, and more...
• The European Commission could play a role again in W3C outreach actions for the sake of open standards adoption...
