<Ajith> I seem to be getting lot of noise - going to try reconnecting
pauld: Renato made two comments -
second is a type probably picked up by our pipeline
... is the first issue regarding semantics of ordering of
repeated items
<scribe> ACTION: pdowney to raise an issue regarding significance of order of repeated items [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2006/06/13-databinding-minutes.html#action01]
<trackbot> Created ACTION-47 - Raise an issue regarding significance of order of repeated items [on Paul Downey - due 2006-06-20].
pauld: some progress in WS-I regarding symbol spaces under the <types> section
george: could be a migration issue for us and we expect to review our namespace policy
pauld: thought handing of schema
inside WSDL was 'out of scope'
... this issue could be in scope as a result of this issue, but
worry about us conflicting with advice from the WS-I BP
http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xsd-databinding/2006Jun/0008.html
pauld: been thinking .. tried to
recognise patterns (george mostly solved this)
... used this to generate a per-schema schematron to look for
things outside of the patterns in a second pass
... but error reporting looks poor
george: sound promising
pauld: expect to get stuck soon, will then solicit help from schematron-love-in, again
pauld: notion of "pending" patterns:
http://www.w3.org/2002/ws/databinding/edcopy/pending/
otu: had some hardware
problems
... was working from manifest file format agreed with pauld
... once it's ready, I'll need the real manisfest
pauld: once again, I am the weakest link :-(
<scribe> ACTION: pdowney to create template for submitting patterns [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2006/06/13-databinding-minutes.html#action02]
<trackbot> Created ACTION-48 - Create template for submitting patterns [on Paul Downey - due 2006-06-20].
otu: will send example C# echo service to the list
jonc: have an action to update
pending XML .. will work on this now it's available
... will send pattern to the list
jonc: asks Ajith about support
for Choice in Axis
... Axis2 has better error reporting
... are they using the same databinding code?
Ajith: Axis2 is much improved version of ADB, a different beast
<Ajith> leaving the chair for a moment!
<scribe> ACTION: jcalladi to submit pattern for ISSUE-33 xs:choice [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2006/06/13-databinding-minutes.html#action03]
<trackbot> Created ACTION-49 - Submit pattern for ISSUE-33 xs:choice [on Jonathan Calladine - due 2006-06-20].
pauld: used this as a template
for submitting patterns
... not much to say, because we have yet to test it
... feeling confident it'll be a basic pattern
... but testing will help here
jonc: it's a lame enough pattern to shove into Basic Patterns and only remove it later if we have difficulties
george: seems ok, but not had that much experience with it
omnes: toss a coin - heads it's in
RESOLUTION: close ISSUE-48 with elementReference as a Basic Pattern
pauld: will try to push things on
with the "steel thread" which will help us make progress
... in the meantime please look for patterns, in particular for
issues which have none defined
