3. Administrative items (Brief)
   • Noah has given regrets for 30 April. We have to decide whether to cancel the call.
   • Reminder that chair has sent a summary of materials relating to TAG priorities and a request that the next round of discussions of goals and priorities be done using email, starting now. So far, only Tim has responded.

4. UniformAccessToMetadata-62 (ISSUE-62): POWDER Last Call
   • Background:
     • POWDER last call (reviews due 27 April 2009): so far no TAG member has expressed an interest in doing a formal review.
     • Dan suggests that site metadata should be considered along with POWDER, and he says he can provide a review for discussion on 16 April (defered to 23 April)
   • Goals:
     • Discuss Dan's comments on POWDER
5. HTML
   • Background:
     • Discussion on 26 March telcon of HTML progress at W3C Advisory Committee meeting.
     • Dan Connolly and Michael Sperberg-McQueen draft Web addresses in HTML 5, which is factored from the HTML 5 draft. (see email from Dan announcing the draft).
     • ACTION-253 on Dan Connolly: Brief the TAG on progress on "web addresses in HTML" draft - due 2009-04-01 - pending review (ISSUE-27)
     • This seems also to relate to ACTION-188 on Dan Connolly: Investigate the URL/IRI/Larry Masinter possible resolution of the URL/HTML5 issue. - due 2009-03-17 - closed.
   • Goals:
     • Discuss Web addresses in HTML 5.
6. XMLVersioning-41 (ISSUE-41).
   • Background:
     • Chair's message summarizing status of versioning work in the TAG (sent 24 March 2009).
     • Sam Ruby blog posting on HTML reunification
     • Larry Masinter review of TAG work on versioning
     • 9 April 2009 TAG teleconference discussion of versioning and 16 April 2009 TAG teleconference discussion of versioning (minutes not yet available).
     • HTML working group action 108 requests that the TAG consider HTML when working on versioning
     • The TAG had earlier decided not to actively pursue development of the finding on versioning.
     • TAG Blog posting: Version Identifiers Reconsidered
     • Thread starting with John Kemp email on updating AWWW good practice note on versioning
     • At 23 March 2009 AC meeting there was at least an informal sense that the AC wanted the TAG to help with the extensibility issue, primarily in the context of HTML. Tim took an action (from the AC, not the TAG) to see that the TAG takes a look at this.
     • The following TAG actions are open or pending under ISSUE-41:
       • ACTION-259 (Larry Masinter) Kick off discussion of versioning principles to apply to HTML, engage Jonathan and Henry. - due 2009-04-16, open
       • ACTION-260 (Jonathan Rees) Review and post the email exchange he had with Larry on versioning about 1-2 months ago. - due 2009-04-23, open
   • Goals:
     • Review progress on ACTION-259
     • Review progress on ACTION-260
     • (maybe) Consider issues relating to HTTP origin header.
7. contentTypeOverride-24 (ISSUE-24):
   • Discussion will be led by: Dan Connolly (Dan may not be available, in which case we'll defer discussion.)
   • Background:
     • TAG Finding Authoritative Metadata (12 April 2006)
     • Dan Connolly suggests that we discuss the draft Content-Type Processing Model, by Ian Hickson and Adam Barth; the draft proposes interoperable rules for Content-type "sniffing" in browsers. Note that the draft acknowledges at one point that it is in "... willful violation of the HTTP specification. [RFC2616]".
     • 16 April 2009 TAG teleconference discussion of content type override and the Internet Draft cited above (minutes not yet available). We agreed to pick up discussion on a telcon within the next few weeks.
     • Larry Masinter email pointing to Minutes from the IETF/HTML liaison meeting in March, including discussion of content sniffing.
     • ACTION-261 on Larry Masinter: Followup with Mark Nottingham and Lisa D. regarding Adam Barth's sniffing draft - due 2009-04-23 - open
   • Goals:
     • Continue discussion started on 16 April 2009.
     • Decide on specific steps TAG can take to maximize impact of TAG Finding Authoritative Metadata or to otherwise positively impact industry directions regarding Content-type "sniffing"
