On Wednesday 19 March, Yahoo and the Web Foundation hosted a party in Vancouver to celebrate the Web’s 25th birthday. Themed ‘25 on 25’, the event featured some of the Web’s most famous users sharing their memories of the past 25 years and discussing wishes for its future. Attendees and participants included Web inventor Sir Tim Berners-Lee, musician and activist will.i.am and former US Vice President Al Gore.
