Participation

Participation is open to participants of W3C/WAI's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines Working Group (WCAG WG). If you are not currently a participant, but wish to attend please contact Gregg Vanderheiden (Chair), John Slatin (Chair), and Wendy Chisholm (Team contact).

The meeting is scheduled for four days to discuss major issues related to the advancement of WCAG 2.0 towards a W3C Recommendation.

Registration

Registration is required and is open until 10 October 2005. The registration system is password protected. If you have not previously requested a login, please follow these instructions and contact Wendy Chishom with any questions.

Monday, 17 October

We will attempt to discuss 5 guidelines per day. If we were to take them in order, the first day would look like this:

However, it will depend on when proposals and surveys are sent for each Guideline.

Tuesday, 18 October

Discuss the next group of guidelines and get ready for release.

Tuesday night dinner: 8:00 pm Ivar's Salmon House, 401 NE Northlake Way. Directions from Adobe to Ivar's - 1.4 miles.

Wednesday, 19 October

Discuss final group of guidelines, conformance, review the mapping to determine if needs updating based on changes to Success Criteria.

Thursday, 20 October

Discuss JIS comments, complete discussion from previous days.

Transportation from SEATAC airport

By Shuttle

Shuttle Express - costs $26.75 to Adobe Systems and Watertown Seattle, $25.75 to Courtyard by Marriott.

After you have collected your luggage, follow the signs directing you to ground transportation which is located on the 3rd floor of the parking garage. The 3rd floor is the same level as the baggage claim and lower drive level. To get across the lower drive you must proceed up one floor via escalator or elevator and walk across the sky bridge.

Once in the garage, proceed to our Shuttle Express booth by following the ground transportation check-in signs. Walk towards the middle and take an escalator or elevator back down one floor to floor three. You will find our booth alongside the SEA-TAC ground transportation information center.

By Taxi

A taxi from SEATAC to Adobe and nearby hotels will cost around $40. After you have collected your luggage, follow the signs direction you to ground transportation which is located on the 3rd floor of the parking garage. Once in the garage, proceed to the taxi stand. By Bus

Metro to and from SEATAC includes information about routes to and from the airport. The Trip Planner is also available.
