In another IETF WG, we used to use such kinds of dates to meet our 
deadlines. Let's say we had a deadline of March 2009 for one of our 
drafts. If we didn't make it by March 31st, we would just continue 
counting days and make it by March 45th or March 64th or whatever :-).
