XForms 1.0 Basic Profile Implementation Report

This is the XForms 1.0 Basic profile Implementation Report. It has been created by the XForms Working Group during the Candidate Recommendation phase. It is based on the XForms 1.0 Second Edition public Test Suite. You can also download a zip file containing all tests.

These results document the operation of one implementation of the features of XForms 1.0 Basic Profile, as of May 7th, 2007.

Since the XForms 1.0 Basic Profile is a strict subset of XForms 1.0, all XForms 1.0 implementations necessarily conform to the XForms 1.0 Basic Profile; therefore, the results of the XForms 1.0 Implementation Report show multiple conforming and interoperable implementations of XForms 1.0 Basic Profile.

However, we haved additionally tested one implementation which aims to implement only the features marked in the Test Suite as XForms Basic, as a proof that such a system can be constructed:

All required features in the XForms 1.0 Basic Profile have been implemented. The data presented here is intended solely to be used as proof of XForms 1.Basic Profile 0 implementability. It is only a snapshot of the actual implementation behaviors at one moment of time, this data is not intended to be used for assessing or grading the performance of any individual implementation.

This implementation table only uses the normative, MUST, XForms Basic tests for determining a pass.

A list of current XForms 1.0 Implementations is also available on line.
