Issues for Authoring Tool Accessibility Guidelines "Wombat"

This document provides a guide to issues which are yet to be resolved, as well as those which have already been resolved, by the Authoring Tools Accessibility Guidelines Working Group (AUWG). It will be maintained through the life of the Authoring Tool Accessibility Guidelines "Wombat" document, and updated regularly as new issues are raised or resolved. It will draw issues and resolution from meetings of the Working Group or from the email list w3c-wai-au@w3.org.

  1. Minimum requirement for Checkpoint 1.2
  2. Names for subsections of checkpoint text
  3. Deciding when a W3C Recommendation is appropriate and available
  4. Do we need a minimum requirement for ensuring generated markup is valid
  5. Which WCAG checkpoints are required for ensuring alternative equivalents are provided
  6. Which WCAG checkpoints are required for helping the suthor seperate structure and presentation
  7. Minimum requirement for ensuring the tool complies with software accessibility standards and conventions
  8. Fix minimum requirement for changing presentation in editing view independent of publishing presentation
  9. Minimum requirement for navigation in the editing view
