| 3.1.3 Put general prescriptive things here and expunge remaining things. | Addison | DONE |

| 4.1.3.1 The following paragraph contains a problematic non-i18n design (we have a scenario that shows this isn't the right thing to do). Need to fix it. | Addison | DONE |
| 4.1.3.1 Fix "später" (spaeter) in the paragraph above. see http://www.alitalia.it or http://www.lufthansa.de | Mike | DONE |
| 4.1.3.1 Ambiguous. Show explicitly all four ways this happens (implementation, service host config, provider config, or deployment decision). Don't stress that there are four: many ways. | Addison | DONE |
| 4.2.2 Need the new example here. cf http://www.inter-locale.com:8004/glue/shared/currencyExample and the getValue Method | Addison | DONE |
| 4.2.3 Needs to be reworked some more. Maybe the provider locale should be non-English for clarity. | Tex | DONE |
| 4.5.2 DONE-ish. Attachments. Still need to build a real example, etc. (Note: I may have one to include shortly) | Andrea | DONE |
| 4.6 This section now quite funky and maybe redundant. (was: Need a bit of bridging text. | Addison | DONE |
| 4.7 The title of this section may be ill-suited, given that the scenarios that immediately follow are all about intermediaries. | Tex | DONE |

| 4.8 Issue of chaining (headers can be lost when chaining services, attributes get changed, etc.. Mary's scenario goes here...?
(NB> Need to review if this satisfies the chaining requirement.) | Martin | DONE |
| 4.9.2 Evil example from UDDI follows. Think about whether to expunge it or adapt it or what. | Mike | DONE |
| 4.10 For example, java.util.Locale -> lang/region/variant strings?? Make this nice and toasty, possibly by stealing from the ULocale paper. (Needs new WSDL examples) | Addison | DONE |
| 4.11 Tex to fit Text. Need to add more information about collation and collation issues. Such as: normalization, matching. 022 | 4.16.x Need text about IRIs. | Martin | Open |

| 4.16 Discuss how using metadata in transports (such as Accept-Language) is not as good as putting it in the SOAP message. | Addison | Review |
** What's a rubric anyway? Has our chair gone insane? Here's a link showing how the term is used in education: Discovery.com The definition of rubric that was in mind when the chicken scratch went into the note was "categories": the links on the linked page give a visual to the idea of categorization, not that I'm suggesting we use an actual rubric, mind you, but rather the... oh bother.
