Description: Laboratory for Computer Science, to promote Web accessibility for people with disabilities as part of the World Wide Web Consortium. Will coordinate development of the Web Accessibility Initiative's (WAI) education and outreach deliverables under supervision of WAI Domain Leader; serve as staff contact to the Education and Outreach Working Group; coordinate production of promotion, reference, demonstration, and training materials; coordinate training events; give presentations on Web accessibility; promote implementation of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines by Web designers and managers; and maintain WAI Web site including resources and references sections.
Qualifications: knowledge of HTML and Web accessibility issues and at least three years' experience with project and event management. Knowledge of CSS, SMIL, and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines preferred. Strong Web design skills and experience desired, as is familiarity with the Web industry. Excellent communication skills required. Must be free to travel.
