This is an archived snapshot of W3C's public bugzilla bug tracker, decommissioned in April 2019. Please see the home page for more details.
Ran the page given for the URL for the validator. Received the following> This document uses an inconsistent DOCTYPE declaration. The Public Identifier -//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.1 plus MathML 2.0 plus SVG 1.1//EN declares the XHTML 1.1 plus MathML 2.0 plus SVG 1.1 document type, but the associated System Identifier http://www.w3.org/2002/04/xhtml-math-svg/xhtml-math-svg.dtd does not match this document type. The recommended System Identifier for XHTML 1.1 plus MathML 2.0 plus SVG 1.1 is http://www.w3.org/2002/04/xhtml-math-svg/xhtml-math-svg-flat.dtd. The recommended DTD is _not_ in the recommended list. The one I used is. And then all the rest of the SVG ended up as marked invalid.
*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 6573 ***
This is a different problem. The other bug refers to the MathML DTD, this one is a different DTD. Same type of problem, but different DTDs. I'd hate to see this one lost because someone was too eager to mark it as duplicate.
Oops, sorry about that, recommended sysid is fixed in CVS, and will be in 0.8.6.
Recommended sysid is updated in 0.8.6.
