Fred: Any news or additions to the agenda?

<fesch> https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-svg-a11y/2016May/0044.html

Fred: I forwarded to the list a thank you email I received from some people working on SVG visualizations

ARIA role presentation/none

Fred: Rich introduced the changes to ARIA 1.1 at last Thursday's ARIA meeting, there's an ongoing CFC related to them.

Amelia: Have their been any comments on the CFC?

Fred: Not that I've seen, should be approved tomorrow.
... Are there any edits on our specs waiting for that text.

Amelia: I don't have specific edits waiting, there's an editor's note in the spec reminding us to update the cross-links.

Graphics-AAM Introduction

<fesch> http://rawgit.com/w3c/aria/gm-intro/graphics-aam/graphics-aam.html

Fred: Amelia's already reviewed this & made changes. I think it's pretty good. And it's just the introduction, we can always change it later.

Amelia: It's pretty short and sweet. I cut out most of the repetition. Just links to related specs & short description of this one.

Open Actions

Amelia: Fred, you have Action-2026 to coordinate with Michael Cooper on publishing new drafts of the specs

Fred: Yes, he says no problem only really need an additional week's notice. We're currently on schedule for inclusion in a batch of heartbeat drafts in August.

Amelia: For my actions, I'll go through & close some of these. A few are still open, need to make coordinating changes to SVG 2.

Fred: One thing Michael mentioned, we really need to start nagging people to get the remaining mappings for Graphics-AAM.

Amelia: That's definitely important. Are you OK following up, Fred?

Fred: Do I need to remove the tests related to multi-lingual title/desc? Did that get removed?

Amelia: Not removed. Marked at-risk going into Candidate Rec, just in case we don't get any implementations during the CR period. But no decision will be made in the next few months.

Fred: Any other changes that affect the tests? What about the new mappings?

Amelia: Yes, the tests will need to be re-written to reflect the new role mappings. But before we can write tests, need to confirm the platform mappings for the new roles.

Fred: Any other updates?

Doug: Still working on the Authoring Practices Guide. Have been getting good feedback on that.
