(and Mark)
[No link]
Steven: We've got 4 speakers, 2 of them are implementors, so it looks good
Mark will join us on the 21st.
[No link]
Erik: He is only interested in the CSV representation; improvements are about roundtripping, and should be included if it makes sense; I haven't looked at it in depth yet.

Erik: Nothing to be
discussed
... the end result is clearer
https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xformsusers/2015Oct/0002.html
Steven: Do we need to include a clarification about the use of "document"?
Erik: Some implementations allow access to non-instances
Steven: How do you reference non-instance documents?
<ebruchez> <var doc="my:new-doc()"/>
<ebruchez> <delete ref="$var//books"/>
Erik: You can insert in things that are not instances proper
<ebruchez> http://www.w3.org/TR/xforms/#submit-evt-submit-serialize
<ebruchez> event('submission-body')
Erik: For instance you might insert in a submission budy
Steven: Should we clarify this so that readers understand?
"A detached copy of the first child element of the instance element is created and placed within a new document node. The copied element becomes the root element of a new XML document."
Steven: That's for instance
... I propose adding "document" to the glossary
<scribe> ACTION: Steven to add "document" to the glossary [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2015/10/07-forms-minutes.html#action01]
<trackbot> Created ACTION-2034 - Add "document" to the glossary [on Steven Pemberton - due 2015-10-14].

Steven: Close ACTION-2031
ACTION-2030 - Make return types of days-to-date and seconds-to-datetime
string

Steven: Nothing to discuss

Erik: [explains email]
Steven: It seems to me that the crux is this: "XPath 2.0 implementations are not required to expose the namespace axis,
though they may do so if they wish to offer backwards compatibility." [1]
Steven: It seems that the only thing we can say is that implementations MAY insert and delete namespace nodes, but that it isn't interoperable.
Erik: OK
<scribe> ACTION: Erik to add note that implementations MAY allow insert and delete of namespace nodes [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2015/10/07-forms-minutes.html#action02]
<trackbot> Created ACTION-2035 - Add note that implementations may allow insert and delete of namespace nodes [on Erik Bruchez - due 2015-10-14].
