need to find one more browser that talks to the api
janina... what will it say
Chaals: needs to say its state etc
Philipe... doesn't api access the DOM
Rich: Acces api tgets information from the dom
Janina: I don't know how that work if a new page is loaded as in LD
Chaals; similar to describedby
instead of loading a string it loads a url
Rich: In an api youwpuld need to put that into a list of actions
Janina: I can check lenox

After thqt we'll send a call for consensus
Janina will touch base after call
Marks sent email to list
<MarkS> JF: Do we need to follow up with WCAG on this for techniques?
<MarkS> DM: I have not done anything with WCAG on this yet
<MarkS> JF: I'll follow up on that then

<chaals> outstanding action items
Let's get the number down to find out athose we can work through each week
Rich: Many are obe
Chaals: If not releveant close
it...
... I'll email people on list
Janina: We spent some time looking at 5.1 might want to prioritize goals
Judy: Does it make sense to push through wsome of the existing action items now looking for OBE
Chaals: Many will get closed.
LJW: I can clear a lot of these OBE
<MarkS> Current 5.1 Wishlist
Janina: Not sure how to do that... need to prioritize, not sure ...i'll do media, as a group
Chaals: I think we can look at wish list and see if we can get them done. I have asotrong interewt in payment.
Mark: Our options are file bugs, extension spec,or propose new feature
Chaals: other aspect. Watching things coming in 5.1 , build list of changes and make sure we are happy with changes
Rich: athey want to move up time
frame with 5.1 and we want to sync aria 1.1 with that year end
2016 but they are taling first quarter of 2015
... Creates issues because we want implimentation... tough to
do by secnond quart next year.... we awanted to fill gaps in
html, but this is a moving target, not sure how to sync them
up.. understand frequent updates but it dows complicates
it.
janina: We're missing paul, sam and philip today... maybe another call to discuss it
Chaals: I'll talk to coordinators... not sure what to ask for ... slow down, decouple, catch up... we need to see what is going on and it's concrete,
Rich: As long as it's brought up that's good with me...
Chaals: Request those with action items look at them ... pick up action items... going to adjourn..
<MarkS> David, I can cleanup and post the minutes
