some early schemas already released

<kidehen> links for THALIA project tracking URL within Linking Open Data community project: http://esw.w3.org/topic/TaskForces/CommunityProjects/LinkingOpenData/THALIATestbed
<kidehen> links for Cornell's participation re. OLTP benchmarks based on LUBM: http://esw.w3.org/topic/TaskForces/CommunityProjects/LinkingOpenData/OLTPBenchmarks
ivan's Q: will there be some sort of write-up on the poster prepared?
it looks there will be
Bengee: repository, mailing lists, etc. setup for another project
<kidehen> bengee: links when you're ready :-)
no report from Segala guys
there was some discussion on the mailing list about a portal for info gathering... general approach has been "agreed"
proposals for portal content can/should (?) be put onto wiki?
<LeeF> kidehen, I edited http://esw.w3.org/topic/SweoIG/TaskForces/InfoGathering/PortalPlans
karen is currently working on the survey; more details needed
<LeeF> kidehen, which wiki page do you think is most appropriate?
<scribe> ACTION: ivan to contact karen about the survey [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2007/04/11-SWEO-minutes.html#action02]
ivan got a positive reaction from Siemens, good news
frank sent some input re his use case to Susie, may be resend to the list/ivan?
<scribe> ACTION: frank sends input to ivan for conversion [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2007/04/11-SWEO-minutes.html#action03]
jeff has also provided some input, waiting for feedback from susie before conversion
ivan sent request to vodafone -- still considering
ivan prepared a few use case slides, which can be used by people when talking about their use cases
<ivan> http://www.w3.org/2001/sw/sweo/public/UseCases/
frank asks if there is any strategy in getting other energy sector companies on board
ivan says this should happen at f2 in stavanger
<bengee> http://esw.w3.org/topic/SweoIG/Misc/LogoIdeas
(note: we've got some strange feedback problems, trying to fix them)
logos - small globe ideas
the globe tends to disappear in smaller res. on larger it looks good
current directions seem to be variant 11? 10?, 9?
<scribe> ACTION: benjamin makes a final set of logos for the next week (based on 10) [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2007/04/11-SWEO-minutes.html#action04]
use case slides template URL is:
scribe: will be sent out to get some comments
more high-level desc. intro, use cases, info gathering..
<ivan> http://www.w3.org/2004/09/SubmitTalk
ivan's URI enables to submit a presentation to the repository of other talks made by w3c people
lee says there are quite a few conferences going on, many attended by SWEO people
<kidehen> Lee: +1
are people interested in looking/listening to each other's messages to get some idea of how this work is presented
<kidehen> LeeF: +1
idea's welcome
scribe: what is the target audience for this form of info
they were started by ivan, oriented more on experts...
maybe when revising them, we should also include people who are less expert-dependent, may serve also a intro to SW for general public
people already gave feedback on faq, would be good to ave this kind of finished by www'07
uldis says it would be nice to condense the key definition of SW into a few, simple words
in the future, faq could be extended by providing wiki (or similar tool) for people/visitors to record their new questions
<LeeF> +1 to wiki for discussion of FAQ
<LeeF> +20 actually
<LeeF> a staging ground, if you will
orri would come up with a proposal for this idea
<uldis> examples of discussion pages for FAQ are PHP documentation and Mozilla XUL documentation
no more items... for today
