Princeton WordNet is a lexical database for the English language [Fellbaum, 1998]. In [WordNet in RDF/OWL, 2006] a conversion of WordNet to RDF/OWL is presented. The files that constitute the actual conversion are listed below.
The conversion is created with a Prolog program. The source code contains instructions for use. The conversion program makes use of the open-source SWI-Prolog and its Semantic Web library.
As described in [WordNet in RDF/OWL, 2006] there are two versions available of the conversion: Basic and Full. An archive file for both Full and Basic versions are available from the following location: http://www.w3.org/2006/03/wn/wn20/download/.
Alternatively, for each version one can select only those files that are necessary for a particular application. For example, it is possible to use the Full version with only the hyponym relation and exclude the other relations.
WordNet 2.0 Full consists of the following three files plus any of the files that contain relations that are listed below.
WordNet 2.0 Basic consists of the following files plus any of the files that contain relations between Synsets
Files that contain relations between Synsets:
Files that contain relations between WordSenses:
