<scribe> ACTION: Jacek to start an implementation report [DONE] [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2002/ws/sawsdl/minutes/20070116#action03]
JacekK: meeting with W3C folks on monday, so should be able to report on transition on tuesday
<JacekK> implementation report -> http://www.w3.org/2002/ws/sawsdl/CR/
JacekK: [notified carine that we will want to publish both docs at the same time]
JacekK: we can design tests for generators and parsers
holger: how do we test?
JacekK: we can re-use the wsdl WG's component model
... we can extend it with model reference
... we can use these in testable reports
holger: who manages this process? (how does one get a green tick?)
JacekK: implementors can mail the list, and report maintainers (chair, team) can add the tick
holger: we are about to start this process?
JacekK: yes, need to start gathering details
... list in currently member-only
<JacekK> http://www.w3.org/2002/ws/sawsdl/CR/
JacekK: sometimes implementors are motivated to keep some info member-only
... if not, we can make the list public
Amit: table focuses on WSDL 2.0
... we have an impl but it will only count under item 15
JacekK: yes, but I hear you plan to implement 2.0 as well
John: what about IPR?
JacekK: W3C doesn't try to provide implementations.
... just need to gather evidence that the spec is implementable
... download URIs would be a bonus, can be linked from WG page
Amit: is it worth expanding so we cover 1.1 features in more detail?
JacekK: good for the public; not necessary for W3C process
... if we must, we could break feature 15 down into sub-features (ex 15.{6,7,8})
Amit: test suite? interrop event?
JacekK: i think we can only test parsers
Amit: example SAWSDL files?
JacekK: yes. we need SAWSDL files to show each of the feaures
... volunteers?
Amit: we have some
ericP: can we start with the examples from the spec?
Rama: +1
JacekK: we can gather them and add expected output
<JacekK> ACTION: JohnM to start putting together a test suite - set of WSDL files showing the spec features [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2002/ws/sawsdl/minutes/20070116#action04]
JacekK: waiting for Karthik to provide examples
rama: new section, 3.7 in the usage guide, which shows SWRL example
... brahmananda is working on WSML examples as well
... i am interested in what other feedback you need
<rama> http://www.w3.org/2002/ws/sawsdl/spec/examples/overview.html
JacekK: we will discuss this next week, email discussions welcome
rama: thanks to Tom for his examples
JacekK: we may publish CR around the end of January
