Eric: describing another use case with amazon could be problematic
Jacek: using SPDL in our examples could be useful

Rama: no plans re report on implementation plans
... semantic matching and composition system update it to use WSDL 1.1 and SAWSDL format
... moving to WSDL 2.0 could take more effort - do not have resources
... our system takes SAWSDL in simple form
Jacek: close the action
<Amit> Re: Adm agenda items: would like to offer presentations of Radian and Lumina tools plus real use cases in Biology from the METEOR-S group
Jacek: SAWSDL f2f - please register
... if you do not plan to attend please register your regrets
... canceling telecon in nov 7
... if anybody is not changing to winter time on Oct 29, please let Jacek know
Amit: we can have a presentation on tools as well as use cases along with WSMO studio presentation
Jacek: anybody who wants to give demo - please contact Jacek
Rama: I would like to do demo of our system
Jacek: If Marin from Ontotext can do WSMO studio presentation then ok, if not Jacek or Carlos will do it
<carlos> just found the latest mail from Marin Dimitrov and he says he will be doing the demo himself
<Amit> http://glycomics.ccrc.uga.edu/stargate/web_services.jsp
Amit: semantic workflow used in our project
<Amit> Satya S. Sahoo
Amit: ontology used for annotation has been released as open source
... we also support - so called summary annotation and leave detail annotations when needed
... next steps is to work on mapping between services - data mediation between semantic annotated services
<Amit> http://lsdis.cs.uga.edu/projects/meteor-s/index.php?page=8
Amit: we have also examples in B2B context, with policy agreement matching and negotiation
... we try to explore different use of semantics
Joel: lifting/lowering schema support?
john: paper available in ISWC describing it
<Amit> this paper discusses data mediation: http://lsdis.cs.uga.edu/library/download/techRep2-15-06.pdf
Joel: discovery as UDDI plug-in?
<Amit> this paper discusses WS-agreement partner selection: http://lsdis.cs.uga.edu/library/download/OVSH-WWW06.pdf
Rama: in usage guide we need simple example to follow
... Can we reuse some of the examples in usage guide?
Amit: yes
<Amit> http://lsdis.cs.uga.edu/projects/meteor-s/index.php?page=5
<Amit> SAWSDL page: http://lsdis.cs.uga.edu/projects/meteor-s/index.php?page=8
Rama: example how semantic annotations are used in real-world application would be great to have
Amit: this can be included in the document so that people can locate and see examples
Jacek: good to see real things to be done with SAWSDL
... editorial, uncovered by Holger: in SAWSDL you still use qname format for modelreferences
<JacekK> http://glycomics.ccrc.uga.edu/stargate/ProPreO
<Amit> this has the ontology: http://lsdis.cs.uga.edu/projects/glycomics/propreo/
Jacek: there might be a bug in treating uris and qnames
Amit: we have a version which addresses that bug
Claudio: in TLI could be tricky to provide real world examples in our organization
... we are in the EU project which wrt IPR of the project TLI provides examples which can be used too for examples in SAWSDL WG
... we are using semantics and applying that to WS and use that to make dynamic composition of services (including telecom services)
<JacekK> ACTION: Jacek and Claudio to coordinate with Peter Matthews the publication of some TI SAWSDL work [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2002/ws/sawsdl/minutes/20061017#action06]
Amit: we should demonstrate how SAWSDL help us
... we need to emphasise that we have examples, use cases and applications, and ROI
Jacek: we can have success stories to put put on the web page saying how SAWSDL help companies
... we should talk more about that in F2F in Athens
Jacek: some parts were misunderstanding which john clarified
john: if you need interoperability you might need lifting/lowering on faults
Jacek: we add clarification to annotation of faults
... next: we do not have example in 2.5
<JacekK> my email: http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-ws-semann/2006Oct/0018.html
Jacek: we leave that to editors
<Zakim> laurenth, you wanted to return to the fault mapping issue. Can the same element be referenced by several faults wih distinct expected semantics?
Jacek: it is WSDL issue
Laurenth: it would be usefull to have mapping on fault as well
Jacek: I do not see this as a danger
joel: we would need a concrete example to see the problem
Jacek: we can leave it to Laurenth - if you come up with example when this problmes shows up then we revise this
Tomas: Software AG are interested in SAWSDL - asked them for review to be ready before out meeting in Athens
Jacek: if anybody has a company interested in doing review - we would be glad to receive comments
... next call will be the next week
